The Warm Weather Has Returned

Started the day at the market in St. Sat - bought a baguette and some fresh salmon for dinner.  Later in the day we hiked up (and I mean up) to the old chateau above the village.

We then drove to Roussillon which is famous for the ochre mining (the dark red color found on the buildings and the pottery).  Walked around the village and then took a hike around the cliffs where the ochre was mined.

Then back to the gite for some pool time and relaxing.  Had a nice apres by the pool around 6:30PM and then off to fix dinner.  Salmon from the market and some fried potatoes and fresh bread topped it off.  Another great day in Provence!!
