Just Hanging Out in Antibes

Decided to stay close to "home" again today.  Walked down to the port and checked out some of the dingys (50' or less) and the yachts.  Most of the big yachts are from England and they are pretty impressive all lined up in a row.  There is an entire industry here based on the yachts - crews, cleaning, supplies, etc.  I looked up the mooring fee for a 150' yacht for one day - over 1100 euros.

I guess if you can spend millions on a yacht and more on a crew you can afford to moor it.  However there are quite a few smaller boats just anchored in open water (free mooring).

Came back to the apartment and headed to the beach for a few hours.  Steve took a swim in the Mediterranean (the water temp was just a tad cool but very refreshing).  In case you are wondering there is some "nude" sun-bathing here and elsewhere on the coast.  Sorry - no pictures.

The weather is still very nice and quite warm - high 80's to lower 90's.  You can really feel the heat when you are doing a lot of walking around like we are.
