After saying our good-byes to our lovely hosts (bottom picture) and some new friends from Ottawa we headed down the road. Since we had almost 6 hours between check-out and check-in we decided to drive to the Gorges de L'Ardeche. We got there in about an hour and then drove along the upper road and stopped at a few viewpoints. There were lots of kayakers on the river - looked like it would be fun. Some pretty amazing sights along the way as well.
Got to Bonnieux about 4:30 - very nice large apartment (seems like a mansion after being in a B&B for a week). Here is the website - http://www.bastidemarechaldenier.com/en/index.html. Got caught up on the laundry and had a very nice dinner in town.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring - we may head off to a local town for a market day. Au revoir for now.
