Thursday 9/15 - Lourmarin

Woke up this morning and found out that one of our dogs (Regis) was sick and had to go to the vet overnight.  Not sure what the issue is but put a bit of a damper on our day.  But in spite of the not so good news we decided to head out to another town just south of here - the village of Lourmarin.  We visited another chateau that was quite nice because of the period furniture and decorations.

We spent a little more time walking around the village and we had some lunch there (and great people watching from a street-side cafe).

We also drove to Cucoron and walked around a bit.  We then drove to Ansouis - but with the weather in the high 80's and low 90's we decided we had walked around enough for today.

Got back to the apartment and hit the pool.  Spent several hours socializing with a couple from Belgium and their college-age daughter.  It was a very nice afternoon.  Wrapped it up by another dinner at the same place as Wednesday night and enjoyed the view and the food again.

An update on Regis - talked to the vet's office and he is going home today.  We will be calling the vet to get the details at about 10:45PM our time.

So tomorrow is Friday and off to another market - this time in Lourmarin (where we were today).  Hoping for a good one.
