A "Surprise" Visitor

Walked out on our terrace Sunday night and discovered this little fellow on the wall (he was probably 2-3 inches long).

Turns out that scorpions are quite common in southern France.  Did a little research and there are 1400 species of scorpions and only 25 are quite venemous (and none of those 25 can be found in France).  If one stings you it is like a bee or wasp sting - good to know.
