Day Two in Prague

Up bright and early today for the second day of our guided tour.  Our guide Kamil arrived at 8:30am and we headed to the Castle town area via subway and tram.  We started at the top of the area and worked our way down through various historical sights and buildings.  Kamil was raised in Prague and he was very knowledgeable in regards to the local history and significant events.  After four hours we ended our tour at the Charles Bridge (a very crowded place full of tourists and groups from tours and cruises).

At the end of the tour we headed back up to the top of the hill and had lunch and some beer at a local monastery who is very well known for their beer (and the food was quite good as well).  Their IPA was made with Cascade hops - go figure.  After about 10 hours on our feet we ended up back at Wenceslas Square for a final Czech beer.  Tomorrow we head to Salzburg.
